Hi there, I’m Anne Marie O’Grady and I’m thrilled to introduce you to The 1530 Network – a mentorship + motivation service close to my heart.  Whilst on a recent career break, I found myself at a cross road, unsure of which path to take.  As I reflected with family and friends on my experiences and passions from working in the education, vocational education and apprenticeships network sectors, I realised that what I truly wanted to do was create a space where young people could find someone to walk alongside them as they faced life’s challenges, helping them make sense of the world and their place in it.  This epiphany was the catalyst for starting The 1530 Network - I could dedicate myself to providing the guidance and support that I knew was so crucial for young people aged 15-30.

For me, having a mentor in my life has been an absolute game changer.  They’ve offered invaluable guidance, support and encouragement, helping me navigate the ups and downs on my personal and professional journeys.  Their experience and wisdom have pushed me to grow, learn and become a better version of myself. So why wouldn’t I want this for someone else? 

Look out! I have a zest for life that is contagious.  Whether I’m pounding the pavement by the beach, or devouring a book, or striking up conversations with strangers, I’m always on the move.  My empathy is off the charts and my nurturing spirit makes me a natural at helping others grow. 

I believe that when we focus our attention on things we are passionate about, energy flows and positive changes can happen.  That is what The 1530 Network is all about – empowering young people to grow, learn and thrive.  Through personalised mentorship + motivation sessions, career exploration, and life skills development we can together tackle life’s challenges and opportunities, make informed choices and chase your dreams. I’m genuinely excited to be a part of your journey and see the incredible things you will achieve.
